Thank you to everyone who participated in our 17th World Day of Prayer!

We prayed for 20 groups, and God gave us more. We had 14 groups in Baton Rouge, 4 others in Louisiana, and 3 out-of-state that we know of. There were 8 NEW churches who partnered with us in prayer this year. We are also so humbled that 100 youth gathered to pray from The Chapel. The youth prayed and also sent care packages to our team with handwritten letters of encouragement.

One of our new churches gave MCWA an entire Sunday morning service to pray. Believers heard words from the Lord to send back to encourage the team. Karlyn, a field team member, was able to Skype in with a prayer group of 10 participants to give a personal update on life in Cameroon. Several groups said they had intimate gatherings and that the Lord used it to grow their heart for what God is doing through MCWA. Praise Jesus!

MCWA is astonished at what God did to gather prayer warriors. We are even more expectant of what He will do as a result of the prayers and intercession that took place. As Matt Heinz, our new Board Chairman, put it:

“To God be the Glory for the great things He has done!”
